Okay.

So I really need an explanation, I guess from an "adult"

My step dad left my mom, because he had punched my little sister. And then he had blamed everything on my mother.

So me, being the type of person I am, send him a lengthy message, about how my mother deserves better, and how he's a sorry excuse for a man, because, well, he is.

Anyway, his response was, "when I become an adult I can tell him how I feel"

First of all, in my mind I'm an adult. I go to college, that I have to pay for my self. And get help through fafsa because I simply don't have the money,

I have a job, have my own house, car, I pay my bills, I buy my own groceries, cook my own dinner, clean my own house, and to top it off their cell phones, are in my name.

So because of my age, means I'm not an adult? I'm 19, so that means I'm not an adult?? Was that just another ignorant statement he made, or is it true? Do people who are in society's definition of "adult" think I'm not grown because of my age? Please enlighten me. 😒
