She was born on July 16th so I assumed she would be a month old on august 16th but my grandma said that's wrong and I should be counting the weeks (4 weeks = 1 month). Am I stupid??

LOL! Maybe, it's a generation thing but factually she will not be 1 yr old until next July 16 so she is not 1 month 2 month 3 month... until the 16th of the month. There are 365 days, 12 months or 52 weeks in a yr but not all months have the same amount of days so you can't get an accurate weekly count. Some Older people are funny!!! 😬

12 months of 28 days (4 weeks) would only be 48 weeks and there are 52 in a year! Never got why people say 4 weeks is a month, so you are correct!

My husband goes by the date and I go by the weeks. So they were born on July 14th. I went four weeks from that and that's a month old. My husband said they were in a month or until August 14

My baby was born on a Thursday so every thursday i count 1 more week. Shes probably saying that coz some months have 5 weeks ect

I just go by the day of the month she was born. So every 24th.  This confuses me too 😂

If every month were 4 weeks/28 days, she would be right. But there are more than 4 weeks in a month. 4 weeks and 1 month are different (unless your Baby was born in February haha). Your gramma is incorrect!
