Pampers sizing vs. Huggies sizing

Can anyone tell me if they know whether or not Huggies run smaller than Pampers? We've been using Pampers swaddlers since our daughter was born, but the size 1 is still too big for her. She'll be 3 months on 10/1, and I've been going back and forth trying them out for the past month but she hasn't grown into them yet 😕 Her daycare told me that the Huggies size 1 runs smaller than Pampers size 1, so I was considering trying them out. Just wanted to get some feedback if you've run across the same issue. If you switched to Huggies, how did it go? I've also heard that sometimes Huggies "burn" babies skin?? FTM, so I have no clue 🙈
