To go out for a night for your bday and let the kids (5yr old,3.5 month old) stay with grandparents over night? Trying not to feel guilty about it but I feel like I need a night out and possibly a few drinks. Is that inappropriate?

Whoever voted yes probably needs a night out. lol girl take that break! Don't feel guilty. I'll be honestly my two yer old is driving me crazy lately I wish I could go out for a few drinks but I'm pregnant lol

Just had my first night out for my birthday, my son stayed with his nanna, he is 3 months old. Go and enjoy your night out, I felt so relaxed and carefree, it's good to get a break, as much as we love our babies, we're still human and deserve some 'me' time👍

If I lived by this rule then it would be inappropriate for hubby and I to go on vacation in December for 6 nights with out our son... he will be 7 months by then.

Honestly I think it is heathy to be away from baby for a bit.  I sure know it is for us!

I would love to have time by ourselves and a night out! We don't get that pleasure. Our parents live long ways away and we don't know many people where we moved so there's no one to watch her. I have no clue what it would feel like but I'd be damned if someone is going to make me feel guilty about relaxing. I'm jealous of you that you can do that.
