issues with IUD. HELP!

I have the Mirena. After a year of having it (loved it sooo much!!!) I started to cramp almost every day and bleed quite often. I got diagnosed with hypothyroidism and high testosterone (never had any of these issues before). I am losing a lot of my hair and my breast have been causing me so much pain I needed to go to the hospital today thinking it was My heart. I'm feeling overall unwell and my doctor suggests getting it removed. I am not sure what kind of birth control I will do now..I do not want the paraguard. I cannot take a method with estrogen. I was considering the implant but that may actually be worse for me. I'm not sure what to do!! Please HELP
