Surrogate?

Question

Ok ladies so what are your thoughts on surrogacy? Really I want to know from those of you who have already had children. Would you be willing to  lend your womb to someone who was really struggling with conception? I've thought about this a lot and am always on the fence.
What would make you actually go through with it?
What would keep you from doing it?

I am a 17 week surrogate right now for a couple. It's an amazing feeling and the honor is overwhelming at times. :)

I had planned to do surrogacy over a yr ago, I meet a woman thru fb who wanted me to. but I needed to lose some weight first then I had an hpv diagnosis so her doctor said I wasn't a good candidate anymore. I was super bummed cuz we were both in agreement about everything. she was prepared to hire me a doula, pay for me to maintain a vegan diet, and let me birth however I felt comfortable wad long as safe. I just had my 3rd child, second vbac home water birth. and I am done having kids now,  so once I wean my little boy ill look onto doing it. pregnancy and labor agree with me for the most part. I've delivered both my home birth babies myself.

I think I would if I was asked to,it would be an amazing thing to do for someone that can't conceive on their own..just my opinion x

I haven't had my own children yet, we lost one to T21. I do know the struggle though. If a friend or family member wanted to use my womb I would be happy to help (after we have our own kids). 
I think it's a wonderful thing to do for someone. I would just make sure that there was a proper contact and that I was seeing a counselor because I think you would have some hormonal moments to work through lol.
I would definately do this if I was asked.
