How much will your second parent adoption cost?

t123
Some people have told me they didn't have to do it, because their name is on B/C
And some have been told even if name is on B/C it doesn't matter, adoption is still needed.
Well our base doctors have told us yes it's needed, but our legal department on base isn't much helpful, (I'll be going in sometimes in next couple weeks to grind them.) we have just found out we are prego, so I (non active civilian will give birth) my wife is active duty will adopt. We used C.C.B for sperm purchase. W/ IVF
SERIOUSLY HATE THAT WE HAVE TO DO THIS BUT WHATEVER LAWS!
P.S. I know a lot of straight couples use sperm donors but I'm pretty sure they don't need to do adoptions! So... Like it still sucks there is a difference... Anyway! Any assistance guys
