6 weeks pregnant and already showing!

Is that normal?! I feel like I look awkward like you can't tell if I'm just fat or pregnant...I was average to begin with but my bump is rock solid and really showing low in my belly and that being said, more frustrating that the baby won't let me eat any food...I haven't got an ultrasound yet but is it normal to show that early ?
