Help! Clomid & antibiotics

So I'm meant to start my first cycle of Clomid today (which I've been really excited about- been TTC for 3 years). However my ear and neck has been aching badly so I went to the GP and it turns out I have a really bad ear infection. She prescribed me antibiotics (amoxicillin) she reassured me that taking Clomid and antibiotics is okay but eh I think otherwise. I hate combining meds. Since it's Sunday I can't call my fertility dr to get the okay. So im wondering if it's a good idea just to skip this cycle?
