Position move

My baby has been at the front of ny stomach up until 34 weeks and then I would say that last week the size of my bump has gone smaller and my stomach is softer. Do you think that means she is in my back now? I'm first time mum and don't know these things lol I just find it strange that this has happened just the the past week as my bump has been constantly hard until a week ago. Answers would be appreciated :)
