natural cures for yeast infections??

Hello! I was diagnosed with a yeast infection a week ago. The doctor said there was a lot of it. I just finished a round of monistat 7 but the symptoms are still going strong.

Any advice? I just learned yesterday to cut sugar and bread out of my diet... and I'm thinking of trying ACV baths, hydrogen peroxide rinces or coconut oil/tea tree suppositories, but I'm unsure how safe these are during pregnancy? Or should I just take another round of Monistat?

Take a clove of garlic, organic is best but fresh regular is fine, peel it and cut off both ends, place into your vagina overnight! I know it's weird but I swear by it- completely natural and kills it very effectively. If I want a one night treatment I also cut slits all over the clove before I insert it to make it more effective. This can burn very slightly at the opening, so if you are very sensitive, the more slits you cut the more burning. But once it is inside it won't hurt, and kills the yeast overnight! For one very severe infection it took two nights back to back for me with this method. If you don't cut any slits you may need to do a few nights in a row.

Dear god, please also do not insert any food into your vagina. This is a good way to get a worse yeast infection, as you are introducing bacteria into a nice dark warm place. Consult your doctor, you are smart to ask them about any natural remedies as not all remedies are safe during pregnancy. Just because it's natural doesn't mean it can't have bad effects

Please do not do a hydrogen peroxide rinse. The vaginal skin is very thin and sensitive and hydrogen peroxide is very drying. You will likely irritate it and could upset the natural PH balance of your vagina.

I did 2 rounds of monistat and it didn't budge so my OB gave me the little pill last resort I was burning in pain (TMI) yogurt , probiotics, Apple cider vinegar , garlic helps but slower I'd try another round if you have waited 2 days unless you did the 5 day (I did the 3 ) NO SOAPS. And if you can get your hands on the wipes to use after you use the rr it'll ease it as well it should be right where the monistat is
