baby not moving as much?

Hey! I'm a FTM and overly paranoid about everything lol so the last two days I haven't notice my baby moving as much as she normally does? I can still feel her moving in there but it's not nearly as strong or frequent as it was earlier this week. I'm 27W2D, anyone else notice prolonged times where baby isn't as active?

I have been in the same boat for my 26-27 week. I called my midwife and went in for an ultrasound and a baby boy was sitting deep in the back of my uterus, all curled up, he is still very active. It because of his positioning, I wasn't able to feel him as much. My midwife says that until 30 weeks they can "hide" but at the 30 week mark they are too big to retreat towards the back. Always call your doc if you're concerned, but if you're feeling consistent movement, I'm sure all is well. Again, always call your doctor if you're concerned, that's what they're there for :)

After 28 wks you should be counting kicks. If you don't feel 10 kicks or turns in 1 hour throughout the day call your midwife. As you get further along the kicks and turns won't be a prominent since the baby is running out of room. I'm currently 31 weeks and although baby moves a lot it's not nearly as hard and strong as it used to be.

I would get nervous too when I didn't feel she was as active but as long as you get a heartbeat at your doctors appointments, baby is totally fine. During growth spurts, baby will move around even more too! I notice lots of wiggles after I drink milk, maybe try that to get baby to move. I'm almost 31 weeks and baby girl has been super wiggly the last few days and my belly has felt super tight, so she's in a spurt right now!

Mine will go 3-4 days (normally in a row) a week where I can't feel her move as much or as "hard" as the rest of the other days.
