confused bride makes me want to quit maid of honor
A friend asked me to be maid of honor at her wedding next Fall of course I was thrilled! Buuuttttt about 3 months ago she found out her fiancé was cheating on her with two women but also spending their "wedding fund" on his mistress' gaming videos. Three times she called me in a panic needing help moving out. When it came time for me to meet her at their apartment she would stop answering her phone. She got on tinder and started seeing some guy (still engaged!still living together!). Anyways after third moving attempt I didn't hear from her for three weeks. And now she's texting me about the dress I'll wear for the wedding, the bachelorette party theme, a trip to NY for her wedding dress....i so pissed off. I wanna tell her I'm out of the wedding. I can't support her bullshit! But is that the right thing to do? I'm hurt and confused and I'm worried about her, more than anything else. I'm worried that if I try to talk to her about it she'll call me selfish and expect me to do what she tells me to.
