Is this normal

OK so this is my 2 month takin bc pills I just started my 2 pack Monday and my period stopped so Friday I forgot to take my pill I have an alarm set for it but I was leaving work when it was time to take it so I turned the alarm off and totally for got when I got in the car well yesterday I started spotting but it was only when I wiped so I took my pill at a regular time would have but today it's bleeding like a period again is that normal? am I gonna bleed for a hole week again? I'm only taking them for a fue months to rest my period back to normal and I don't see how this is gonna help it its kinda making me wanna stop it all together now
