Baby shower with out of state in laws?

Does anyone have tips on making the whole family feel included in the pregnancy/baby shower? My mother in law, grandmother in law, and great grandmother in law, as well as all of my husband's family, are scattered all over the United States (Florida, California, Iowa, and Maine), and we are in Minnesota. My mum is bouncing off the walls to start planning the shower, and I want to include the other side of the family as well in some way. It's my inlaws' first grandchild/first great grandchild/first great great grandchild, so it's kind of a big deal to them. They've been great about staying in touch, and I love them all.
