Qty of Diapers

I have seen quite a few different charts about how many of each size diapers I should have. Just got a bunch at my shower. Any advice on what to keep and what to exchange?

Currently have:

138-Size newborn

244-Size 1

716-Size 2

102-Size 3

38-Size 6

Thinking maybe the size 6, some newborn & maybe some of the size 2.

Then brands & versions within beands are so confusing. Swaddlers vs Baby Dry. Snugglers vs Snug & Dry. I'm so confused. How am I supposed to know what's best for my baby? Too many options.

Anyone have issues with exchanging without receipts & not knowing what store they came from?
