Being Eaten Out

So my boyfriend tries very hard to eat me out, but he doesn't do a very good job. At times it feels good but at other times it doesn't really feel like anything, like I can feel him trying but there is no pleasure. He knows what he's doing, just nothing he does can please me. Anyone else experience this?
