stretch & sweep- how long until your labour?

Hi Ladies! I'm 40+3 days and my midwife gave me a stretch and sweep tonight! I was just wondering for anyone else who has had this method done, how long it took your body to go into labour?

Edited: my waters broke 12 hours after having stretch and sweep done and I am now in labour!!!

i am 41 weeks today.

at 40 weeks i had a sweep and at 41 weeks im still pregnant and just had a second sweep lol

ive also now had 2 with no luck! i had really built all my hopes on sweep to get things going because the second did work for my two friends! 40 plus 6! induced tomorrow - scared! hope yours works!

I had my membranes swept at 11:30 am last Monday morning, and had my little girl by 4:30am on Tuesday!

Has one last Tuesday and I am still pregnant.   Going to try again today.  If your bosy isn't ready it won't work.

Had a sweep at 40+4 on Friday just gone. Losing mucus plug all weekend. Lots of cramping and terrible back pain but still pregnant. 41weeks today!

I had a sweep on a Wednesday afternoon, had mild cramping consistently since, which turned into full blown labor on Friday evening. Delivered baby early Saturday morning.

I have my stretch and sweep done at 11:30 in the morning, i started having some contractions by 1pm became regular at 6:00 which is when labour started. Went to the hospital at 9:00pm! X

I had my first on Thursday afternoon and my second on Sunday at 1:30pm. My water broke at Monday at 5:30am and I had my baby at 5pm on Monday. So it worked for me!
