Crinone?

Hi, my doc change my progesterone suppository from Prometrium 200mg/day to Crinone 4% bc I was having some bleeding and low absorption. I've seen a lot about Crinone 8% but not 4%. I'm 6 wks with original of level of 16.4 and then 2 weeks later only up to 17 now. Any one successfully been on 4%? Wondering if she wrote RX wrong...Thanks!

Hi there. I take Crinone 8% 2x daily. I too had some bleeding last week, thought it was the end of my pregnancy as it was unusually heavy. Luckily baby is hanging in there, 5wks5days today.
Prior to my bleeding scare, I use to push the Crinone applicator back as far as I can. I think because of this, I was irritating my cervix which caused the bleeding. Now I’m pushing it had half and releasing the gel. How have you ladies been doing it?
Is anyone experiencing irritation/rash down there from the Crinone? If so, what are you doing to help with the irritation?

I’m on 4% but I’m also taking 200mg progesterone in pill form. If your level is 17 I wouldn’t worry too much though about not taking 8%.
