Did your baby come on your ultrasound due date?

I read that if you are able to have a first ultrasound, that is the most accurate due date!

My ultrasound EDD is Oct 12. My LMP one is the 21st. Apparently if it differs more than 7 days, best practice is to change the date. But my doc didn't. ☹️

Does anyone have any experience with first tri ultrasound due dates and when baby actually came?

(Obviously I'm rooting for the 12th!)

By far not acurate since the "due date" the tech gives u from the ultrasound is more -EDD- ESTIMATED due date.
Only about 3-5% of all pregnancies, deliver on their estimated due date. The vast majority of women deliver AFTER - if not induced by their doctor.
If left alone, the vast majority of women go past estimated due date by 2-7 days. 
The only way to increase ur chance of delivery  on estimated due date,  is by getting induced.  Even then,  some go through a very long labor and end up delivering the next day.

No I had a my first ultrasound very early and estimated my DD to be yesterday, still no sign of baby. Going for a second cervical sweep today, hoping it kick starts labor.

My due date according to the ultrasound with the first was April 21st and she was born on her due date. With my LMP, it was some time in early April (can't remember the exact date because my periods are everywhere so mean pretty much nothing lol). She always measured spot on for her due date at every ultrasound (I had one every appointment).

This one is due October 15th according to the ultrasound. According to my LMP, I was due September 15th. Obviously that didn't happen lol Babies will come when they want regardless, but an earlier due date does make us hope they'll come earlier!
