SUPER PAINFUL PERIODS

I'm 19 and I've had my period since I was 14. Every single cycle is painful to the point where I can't do anything. When I was in high school, I would get sent home once every month due to me either vomiting or fainting caused by the pain. I haven't ever seen a doctor about it, but I think I should. I started my cycle for the first time in 3 months today. I saw the doctor last month to see why I was so late, he said it was caused by the sudden change in my physical activity. But this period seems 5x more painful than any of the others. I need some advice.
