Has anyone been pregnant during a hurricane before?

I'm  31 weeks and i live in West Palm Beach Florida, kind of freaking out bc of the hurricane

I'm 39 weeks on Thursday and we are in coral springs /Tamarac area. I have TWO appointments Thursday coming up, both are in Hollywood. Honestly, I'm more worried for my sister who drives a little tiny electric car...
I have a big suv, and my fiance to drive.  
As always,  they are making WAY to much of a big deal about it.. 
But...we have water, bateries, canned foods and flashlights..."just in case"
It's Florida, we were due for a big scare...

I was 8 months pregnant when hurricane Ike hit Texas in 2008 and was projected for our area. My family and I evacuated and I brought all my medical paperwork with me and my doctors info. The stress of the evacuation actually cause me to have early contractions and a local hospital where we evacuated checked me out and monitored me. I know it can be scary but just be prepared and you should be just fine!
