how do I get my milk supply up?

So I have to decided to just pump because it's a lot easier an works better for my fiancé an I. But when I started I was getting 2oz every pump, then it went up to 3oz that then finally to 4oz. But that was me pumping 2x a day because that's all I could ever get. But now my problem is that I'm barely getting 2oz. I really want my baby boy to have breast milk rather than the formula the doctor put him on to supplement, but I can't seem to pump more than 4oz in one day.. I just don't know what to do..

I eat Oatmeal and sweet potatoes everyday and drink tons and tons of water! There are bunch of foods that help with production that you can Google. Also, pump every time you LO feeds so your boobs can keep up with demand. I only pump to bottle feed because my lil guy was like a piranha to my nipples. I would have to supplement with formula at first but I just pumped every time he ate and now I overproduce so I can save some. Best of luck!

I've heard fenugreek helps with milk production, I'm on day two of pumping and I get 2 oz, but what I do is feed baby one BOOB and pump the other and then switch depending how much my nipples hurt or which is more engorged

What I did was I pumped and soon as I was done I drank a heavy beer( which wasn't that heavy cause I'm not much of a beer drinker) and after two or three hours after that ONE beer I would pump and oh boy did it help a lot and after waiting that long to pump you don't have to worry about anything being in the milk it's either that or my mom said to pump and massage you boob at the same time and you can always ask hubby to help with that if he's willing like mine is
