Why Did My Period Get So Heavy All Of A Sudden?!

Since the first time i ever got my period it's been pretty much light to medium every time. Now the past 2 months i soaked a pad on the first night both times and it's just been a lot heavier and i'm curious as to if that means something is wrong

Have you changed or added meds? Some will change your flow. I had a thyroid issue and the doc put me on Synthroid. Immediately after, my periods became UNBEARABLE and ridiculously heavy for years (even after stopping the prescription). Before sythroid, my periods were once every 2-3 months and only for 3 days... now they are REALLY heavy and sometimes last longer than a week :(
