Has anyone had a PAINFUL UTI like this????

My gosh! I have been in so much pain, have to wear baggy clothes, dose up on painkillers, moving about constantly, can't sit it's more painful, so can only lay and pace up and down. I'm so irritated, bless my bf he's been such a star. Been prescribed some new antibiotics today so hope they work. 1st time I have ever called in sick to work, I could barely speak as I keep wincing lol!!! Please say I'm not the only one

Take lots of Ural and place an ice pack directly on the urethra to relieve some pain and swelling. I get mimic UTIs so there's no actual infection, just residual pain from having over sensitive nerve endings. Ural helped me when a catheter tore my urethra up after a surgery. I literally couldn't pee without screaming and crying like I was being murdered.

Chug water, I find that the more hydrated I am the less it hurts. Avoid coffee and alcohol

I get chronic UTIs because I have hourglass ureters. Which means constant kidney infections too. I would recommend AZO it's a pain reliever and numbing agent specifically for UTIs. They have different kinds too like numb you're bladder or numb your urethra. You can buy these over the counter their truly my life saver when  UTIs are prevelant. In other words AZO is pyridium on steroids. Lol feel better hun hope I helped
