For those who did honest research about TDap vaccine, did you get it during your pregnancy?

Yes absolutely and I researched the hell out of it. There's no documented risk and Whooping cough can be fatal to new borns. No brainier for me, my husband, and baby

I'm due for my tdap next month. Did a ton of research and I will be getting it around 28-30 weeks. Getting the vaccine while pregnant actually gives some immunity to the baby. From what I've read no risks.

So I've been tossing this back and forth for a long time. I'm a high risk pregnancy and my HR dr told me not to take it. My regular GYN told me to take it. Finally I told them they need to talk because I don't want to be put in the middle. Basically the HR doctor told me that god forbid the baby has an allergic reaction there's nothing they can do if it is still inside of me. He said for everyone who will be immediately near the baby to get it and I will get it as soon as the baby is born - and it passes through the breast milk to give some immunity for the baby until they can get the shot.
