I wish people would ask I'm due the 23rd with twins and I'm so huge already I mostly just get stared at or that awkward side glance. If people asked instead I would feel less like a freak of pregnancy, plus then they would know it's twins and not a 15 lb giant baby

I agree. It's annoying but mainly bc I feel like I've told everyone a million times and now it is just the only thing they have to say to me. I'm just not a small talk person and would rather have a nice wave then walk away than have to answer the same question over and over.

I see no harm in people showing an interest. This is my third. Wait until baby arrives and you make a quick stop at the store and you want to get home quickly before he/she falls asleep and you have the same kind of people touching your baby and trying to talk to you about  him/her. I've had people try to start up conversations while baby is screaming. My brother has twins and couldn't walk two feet without being stopped. 
All in all though, people are just tying to be nice. Doesn't really bug me all that much. Only the negative aww it's a third boy comments really get to me. :)

I'm due the 20th and when random people ask I just tell them November. They don't need specifics. It doesn't really annoy me, I think it's nice people are nice to me and show an interest. Sometimes it's just hard bc I'll be out somewhere like the grocery store and I'm tired and just want to get done and go home, but everywhere I turn I'm getting roped into a new conversation.
