Hate the midwife on call

So at 12 i woke up from a nap and i had chunks of mucus plug come out i started to get contractions which were 10 to 15 minutes apart. At around 6 my mucus plug came out with some blood and my contractions are about 4 to 6 minutes apart. So i call the hospital tell the midwife on call on how im feeling she didnt care that the mucus plug had blood on it. She told me to wait until im in really excruciating pain where i cant walk or when my water broke. Like what the hell. My insurance pays u to make sure u get my baby out it pays for my stay at the hospital as long as i want to be in there and use the birthing equipment and not to birth my child in my house.
