2 month old poops once a day?

Her weight is normal. She is EBF.
She doesn't seem uncomfortable at all but recently started popping only once a day- usually late afternoon. Anyone else in this boat? Or have any insights to calm a FTM down

Thursday is poop day for my girl, like clock work since she was about 5-6 weeks old. Occasionally she'll have a week where she goes more than once, but usually it's just Thursdays. 😂

Mine is 11 weeks, EBF and I bet he's only pooped maybe 40 times since he's been born. Pooping is not his strong suit. Just think of it as less diapers

Mine is 11 weeks today- ebf and only poops 1-2x a week now.

You can give 1-2TBS of dark karo syrup in a breast milk bottle for them- my son takes a bottle well so I did that for him and he had a poo explosion lol

They absorb all the nutrients so- that's why they aren't going as frequently

For breastfed babies there are lots of variations- mine is almost 2 months and has one giant poop (morning) and another 2-3 small ones. Once a day is normal too, and even once every few days is normal. As long as she's not struggling, uncomfortable, etc.

If baby isn't grumpy, I would think it's fine. My LO is bf and formula fed...is pretty regular with 1 poo a day. Occasionally he'll go twice, but once a day is more common.

I EBF as well and my 2 month old also had a big decrease in poopy diapers. Her pediatritian said its normal and can even be days between sometimes. She explained that because there is really nothing "extra" in breast milk that there's not as much waste as a baby's that is on anything else. Their body is doing a good job absorbing all those vitamins and nutrients you worked so hard to give them. So keep up the good work!

Normal. Colostrum is a natural laxative. You stop making it when they're about a month old. They'll poop less frequently once it stops. My daughter is four months old, ebf, and only goes once a week.

Its normal as long as theirs no sign of discomfort. My son goes at most twice a day
