How much do you pay for health insurance?

I'm on state insurance because I qualify because of medical conditions/disabilities I have.

I've been trying to look at other insurances because I feel guilty being a "burden on society" (I work full time and pay taxes), but I was SHOCKED by the prices with my conditions.

We have Kaiser HMO for us and our son. I'm not sure how much he pays for it though but I know it's not cheap.

I am still able to be on my dads insurance but if we had gotten insurance through my husbands job, it would have been over $300 a month for him, myself and a baby. We opted out. Our baby will be on state insurance. It's expensive. We can't even fill our fridge with groceries right now, let alone afford to pay that. That's what the state programming is for. To assist in small things like health insurance. You pay your taxes, you have a right to use it if you qualify.

My husband and I have Florida Blue (Blue Cross Blue Shield) through his employer and we pay less than $200 a month for medical, dental, vision, and life. His employer pays like 80% though so employees get a hefty discount.
