evening Primrose Oil insertion while Group B Strep positive?

So I tested positive for Group B Strep, and now I'm wondering if it's safe to be inserting two 500 mg capsules of EPO vaginally to help with cervix softening? I've read conflicting opinions online, but most is from a few years ago when this practice wasn't likely as common..

It's fine. I tested positive as well and was inserting. But taking orally is just as effective. I'm taking 4000mg orally a day and not inserting anymore as early labour has started and I don't want to chance causing an infection by putting my hands up there
