Visiting great grandma who smokes...
So, my husband's grandmother smokes (indoors and outdoors) and I feel very strongly about not exposing our infant to either secondhand is thirdhand smoke. Every bit of research indicates this is the best decision ( http://newscenter.lbl.gov/2010/02/08/dangers-of-third-hand-smoke/). Have any of you dealt with this issue? I want her to be able to meet her great grandchild... But I'm also not willing to put my son in a smokey environment. Of course we will attend other family functions not at her home where she can meet him. I also want to be diplomatic and kind about this.
PS - please don't leave anecdotal comments about how it's really not that bad, etc. This is a research backed issue.
