Tuesday, Sept 27th at 4:30am I thought my waterbroke but I didn't think or to realize it could have been my water until 2:30pm when I started getting contractions. I was at work, I stayed until I got off work at 8pm then went home and took a shower the contractions where getting worse. Well we decided to head to the hospital. We get to the hospital at 9:30pm. Well they check to see if my water broke and it didn't they checked and see how far I dilated. Well I was still a 1cm. The nurse took my blood pressure and it was extremely high, then she checked my urnie and I had a lot of protein in it. Turns out I was in preeclampsia. My kidneys where going out..... they admitted me at 10:30pm that night... they gave my antibiotics at 2:30am on Wednesday morning. At 4:30am they induced me, I was at a 2cm... at 4:45am I got an epidural.. I was in extreme pain they gave me one dose but never told me that I had to keep pushing the button to keep get another dose.. I eventually passed out at 5-5:30am I was in and out the whole time I was in labor. They came in at 12:20 to break my water and see how far dilated I was. Turns out my water already broke on its own and who knows when. I was dilated to a 6cm. They decided to get me to do peanut ball well the nurse turns me on my side for a sec and I was in a lot of pain she checked me and I was dilated to a 8cm. She goes gets the doctor, not even 5mins of her being gone I had someone go get them. Dr comes in and she checks me and tells me it's time to push.! I started pushing at 12:45. I pushed 7 times and my daughter was born at 1:25pm. Well her shoulder had gotten stuck and they had to push on my stomach to get her out which caused her to rip me. Well after they got her out and put on top of me, my uterus wouldn't go back in place and I started bleeding out. The blood wouldn't stop coming I felt light headed, dizzy, exhausted... my fiancé was holding our daughter... my mom was next to me in tears.... my dad was trying to figure out what was going on eventually they got my uterus in place but I had lost a lot of blood I almost had to have a blood fusion.
It was terrifying but honestly I wouldn't trade it for the world because all that was worth seeing her face and feeling her skin on mine and holding her close to me. It was the best feeling in the world❤️
