Best. Date. Ever

So guys I wanted to share something with everyone. So my "boyfriend" and I are kind of still together, we're giving each other some space. We still talk everyday and we still spend time together. However, I made the decision to go on a date with someone new. I met someone new on OkCupid (yes online dating). We've been talking almost a month now. He's so sweet and we have so much in common. When he asked me on a date, it took me a little bit to answer because I was trying to make the best decision. Finally, I was like "What the hell. Let's go for it!" And said yes! I was super excited. He bought tickets to a movie under the stars event we have in North Carolina. With that being said, he told what they were going to play. Ironically it was my favorite movie. Love and Basketball. So, I was even more excited. So last night, he came and picked me up at my house. He was dressed so perfect. Button down shirt, nice pair of jeans, and some dressy shoes (sneakers). I wore jeans, my long cardigan, nice cami, and my toms. I was so excited but didn't know how to explain it to my dad. Meanwhile this new guy wanted to come to my door and pick me up and actually meet my parents. Which I was kind of iffy about and had to apologize for it. He opened the door for me, and as he was doing that my dad came to the door and told me to have a good time. I know he already knows what's going on he just wants me to tell him. Which is no problem. We get in the car and he puts the gps on to go to the movie. Well, he hands me the aux cable and tells me to play whatever I want. So I'm like ok. Well, I put on Candy Rain. Needless to say, he started singing right along with me. Which of course made it even better. Then, Bobby Brown, then Jay-Z. I was astonished that he knew all of these songs. Especially the underground songs. When we got there he went and got snacks, let me pick where we sat, and watched the movie. About an hour in he was like "Is it ok if I want you to lay on me?" And I was like "No. Not at all". So he laid down and I laid on his arm. It was honestly, the best feeling. It was the best date I had ever been on. It felt good to be out with someone who knew how to treat me, knew how to dress, AND can give me the aux cable lol. While I feel like I should feel bad because of my "boyfriend" I really don't and I really want to see where things go with the new guy. Guys, I'm so happy right now. Like I can't stop smiling. I went to bed last night just grinning from ear to ear!!
