AF here but bbt remains high!

Has anyone ever had AF come but bbt stayed high? Usually bbt goes down the day before AF but I am CD2 and it is still high. Just wondering if this could still mean I am not out this month or if some peoples bbt just takes a while to go down? Any advice/insights?
