Jr or not?

So My husband already has a son thats 7 and hes not a jr. This is our first child together. Is it cool or ok to name our son dj? Doea junior have to be after your first son only?

My husband doesn't. We already have a son (not biologically mine) and I asked if he wanted a Jr and flat out said "Hell no!" Lol

My mom didn't want to name my first brother after my dad, but by my second brother I guess he convinced her. So my second brother is a jr. no big deal.
