Can you hear the heartbeat at 6 weeks 3 days?

Hello,
I have my first scan scheduled for tomorrow and I will be 6 weeks 3 days. I've read that you can hear the heartbeat at that point. Anyone heard the heartbeat then? I am very nervous as this is the first time I've ever been pregnant!

I had my first ultrasound at 6 weeks and we saw the heat beat at that point.  It's not a guarantee you will see it though as it's still early so don't be too discouraged if you don't.

They didn't see a heartbeat at 7 weeks for me. I had to come back 2 weeks later and then they were able to confirm a heartbeat. If you don't see anything, give it time.

They shouldn't use pulse Doppler at your exam tomorrow which means you won't hear it. They should show you the flicker of the babies heart and measure the beats using motion mode. Using pulse Doppler to hear it is isn't medically necessary and it's the one thing that can heat the little pumpkins up when they are too tiny.

It may not be detectable. So if they can't hear it don't worry! Give it a few more weeks 🙂

I saw the heartbeat at 8 weeks and 12 weeks, didn't get to hear it until my 16 week appointment.

My baby had no heartbeat yet at 6.5 weeks, she was born in august right on time. So don't freak out if you don't get a heartbeat yet.

That was when i found out i was pregnant and how far along i was. I was 6 weeks 3 days and they found the heart beat and everything.
