How soon can you safely induce yourself. Like trying all of the home remedies. What are a list of ways to safely try to induce labor?

I would wait until you are full term which is 37 weeks. Some babies are fine before then, but you don't want to risk it and your baby end up having issues and having to go to the NICU. As for ways to induce, you can check out Pinterest. They have lots of things you can try.

I think any "self inducing" should be done under the advisement of your doctor. Just to be on the safe side. If you call, a nurse should be able to give you an idea of what's okay at your point in pregnancy.

I personally wouldn't try anything until I was 39 weeks at least. Anything before then is just pushing it because those last weeks are really important for furthering baby's lung development.

They are no longer considering 37 weeks to be full term. It is considered early term and full term isn't until 39 weeks. I would not try to self induce until AT LEAST 39 weeks. Babies need 40 weeks for a reason, don't kick your baby out early. I have multiple friends who have delivered at 36, 37 and even 38 weeks whose babies had to go to the NICU because they weren't ready yet. I wouldn't risk it.

I wouldn't risk anything earlier than 38 weeks but it doesn't matter what you do, baby won't come until baby is ready! You're almost at the end, just sit tight and relax. It seems like women on this app forget that pregnancy is meant to be at least 40 weeks, most FTMs go passed due.

I wouldn't try to self induce until my due date.  I firmly believe that baby will come when he/she is good and ready, unless there is a medical reason.  Those last weeks of "baking"  are important for development.

I wouldn't until at LEAST 39 weeks, preferably not until my due date is actually here. I'm so uncomfortable and in so much pelvic pain but if she's not ready she's not ready. I want her to cook for as long as she needs to.

After 36 weeks they are generally developed enough to be born safely and aren't considered premature. However, why would you risk putting your baby in distress?
