need advice

I'm contemplating staying home after baby is born. I work retail management and it's really stressful. We've saved enough to be on top of bills for my 12 week leave but my SO suggested I stay home all together so we won't have daycare fees. I'll be 22 not long after baby is born and would probably use the time to finish school. But I've never just not worked. And I don't know how I'll feel once 12 weeks is up. I guess I'm wondering how the transition is into staying at home is? Did you like it or hate it?
