Contractions

So I'm 38 weeks and 1 day, this is my first pregnancy so I don't really know what to expect contractions to feel like my doctor always asks if I've had any but I say I don't know because I don't lol I can't tell if it's contractions or just the baby pushing it's whole body in certain areas. I've read and my doctor told me it feels like a tightening and all that but that's what I feel but it still seems like it might just be the baby.

What do contractions feel like? Braxton hicks and/or real ones? Try to explain in as much detail as you can please I really just don't get what they are supposed to feel like lol
