Flu jab?

I had a flu jab yesterday I'm 25 weeks pregnant but after getting it and being told it's absolutely fine I've seen a post on here from a woman urging people to avoid it? I'm now worried I've done the wrong this. Has anyone had it before and everything ha even okay? X

Tons of women get it. I believe I read the post you're talking about and the girl can't exactly prove it was the shot.
They don't give us live strain of it so it can't actually make you sick. If you get sick it's either a cold or you were exposed before the shot kicked in. Takes about 2 weeks.
I'm getting mine tomorrow and have no fear over it.

I didn't see the post  but you did the right thing getting the shot. The flu shot cannot make you sick,  at most you'll get a yucky feeling which is just your immune system learning to recognize the strain of flu this time round. Babies under six months are the most likely to be hospitalized with flu related complications.

I just had mines at 14 weeks. The only thing that affected me was it was itchy. That's all. I don't think it's unsafe and had it in my first pregnancy and if I fall pregnant again after this one I'll get it again. The risk of losing my life, my baby loosing its life or anyone else ending up I'll if I caught the flu is enough to make me continue to get the flu jab. Don't worry about it honestly. You will be fine and your baby will be fine as well xx

I have to get it for my job. This is my third pregnancy and had it all three times.

If it wasn't safe they wouldn't encourage us to get them. I've had them will both my pregnancy and getting my third next week, never had any issue with them at all, also taking my son to get his today too!

They wouldn't recommend it if it wasn't good for us pregnant. I had mine at 16 weeks and I was fine and have been fine since and I am 30 weeks
