Should I get this tattoo for real??

I'm afraid of needles and it's in a painful spot so I'm scared, has anyone got something similar, or something in the same spot or been afraid of needles???

I have a tattoo in that spot, and I got it when I was terrified of needles. It did hurt, but it felt more like mild rugburn than actual needles. It's an annoying pain more than an unbearable one.

I'm terrified of needles. Like, cried when they put my last IV in scared, and I'm 38. That being said, the two are nothing alike. I have 4 tattoos, and I'm not at all scared to get more. They can definitely be painful, but not even close to the same feeling.

I'm afraid of needles and I have two tattoos, getting a third next week. My thing is seeing needles touch my skin. As long as I don't see it, I'm fine. The needle in tattoo guns moves so fast I can't actually see the needle touching my skin, so I've watched my artists do both my tattoos without problems. It's all about how you think about it! If you can, I would bring a friend for suppprt or ask the artist to talk to you for a distraction or bring something that'll not make you think about it so much.

I compare tattoo pain to getting stung by a bee constantly, you go numb after awhile. Also you really do not notice the needles since it's in a gun. If you really want it go for it. Eat and be hydrated and go maybe in the afternoon or evening so you won't pass out.

Hi, I just want to say I think that the tattoo that you have in mind is absolutely beautiful, I'm planning on getting one in that same location as well. I have three tattoos already and I also loathe needles. Also because I have anxiety issues I can freak myself out really easily to the point I can make myself sick. I agree with someone else's comment on how you should be really sure if you want the tattoo, and if you are then that's great if not then maybe wait a little bit and kinda further decide on it. If you do end up getting it I have some tips for you! 1. You're going to be a little nervous so drink some water before hand, go to the bathroom, and if it's ok with your artist ask if you can have a small cup of water with you back there. 2. Again it's kinda up to the artist, ask if someone can come back there with you to hold your hand and talk to you. 3. Since you are scared of needles, seems kinda simple to remember when they are getting their supplies don't look at them getting the needles ready or look at them while doing the tattoo. 4. And finally let your artist know that you don't like needles they have a lot of people come in some terrified of needles they can kinda calm you down. I really hope this helps and again I think that the tattoo that you picked will look great!
