How to Transition Your Dogs for the New Baby
A lot of people wonder how to prep their dogs for the arrival of their first baby.
Here's what worked for all the members in my family who have had dogs before babies.
When you're in the hospital before you bring the baby home, have someone the dogs know well (your partner, parent, sibling) visit the dog(s) with a baby blanket from the hospital. This way, the dog(s) can recognize the baby's scent and will be excited to meet him/her when you come home. This has worked for all the new babies in my family/extended family. The dogs accept the baby immediately.☺️❤️
