The ultrasound tech said I have a cyst that pregnant females get and that it's not dangerous but that side of my stomach by my ovary hurts all day long ? Has anyone else ever had this ? I don't remember the name of the cyst but it's not comfortable at all and i fear maybe it can be dangerous! Because how bad it hurts I never had this with my son I'm 14 weeks along again and it really hurts

It's a corpus luteal cyst and it sends hormones to the pregnancy until the placenta is developed. They are normal and actually a good sign for a healthy pregnancy. They will resolve between 16-20weeks. They can be achy!

Yes, I had two very large ones on my ovaries about two years ago. I got laparoscopic surgery to remove them. Heating pad occasionally helps with pain. Good luck!

I have an ovarian cyst. When I was 6 weeks it was 6cm I went for another internal ultrasound at 18 weeks? They had said it has gone down a bit they did say if I need surgery it will be 3 months after baby is born. I am now 28 weeks 3 days.
