My beautiful bundle of joy has arrived!

At around 8pm on Monday the 10th my water broke and I must say it was a strange experience because I thought it would be one big gush of fluid & then stop but no it didn't stop until I gave birth 😂 Anyway, my boyfriend rushed me to the hospital and contractions started around 930pm & I was 3cm dilated. At first they weren't too bad so I considered having an all natural birth but when the nurse checked me again at midnight I was 6cm and the contractions were unbearable, so I begged for that epidural and I must say it was the best decision I've ever made. After napping until 230, the nurse checked me again and I was 8-9 cm...30 minutes later I was ready to push and my beautiful 6lbs 10oz, 19in boy was born at 3:35am on Oct 11. All the nurses were so amazed that my labor only lasted 7 1/2 hours since it's my first child...but of course I wasn't complaining!! I'm so in love with everything about this little guy, he's so perfect 😍👶🏾💙
