mucus plug and labor?

How long from when you lost your mucus plug did you go into labor? I know it can days or weeks but just curious what the average is?! I've had some cramping since I lost mine yesterday but nothing too serious and nothing consistent so definitely not in labor yet. We have plans all weekend (including my high school reunion about 55 miles from the hospital) so I'm wondering realistically if I should cancel the plans, especially the reunion, play it by ear or keep planning to go unless I have contractions or back pain? I'm only 37 weeks and 3 days so I figured this was my last full week with making plans.

I've been losing bits and pieces of my mucus plug since 34 weeks and I'm still here pregnant at 39 weeks lmao.. if it was a bloody show that's different! I heard it's hours or maybe a few days but that it's a sign of labor! Good luck!

It depends usually your bloody show is a sign of imminent labour so like blood streaked mucus and just your plug you can lose several times over and it can regrow at any point I'd play it by ear and see how you feel as everyone's different I personally would cancel but I think that's out of laziness 😂

I lost mine and went into labor only a few hours later. But when I lost mined I had already been having consistent contractions

Lost mine a month ago....no labour. Unfortunately mucus plugs mean absolutely nothing in terms of labour.

I lost mine 4 days ago and no sign of labor. There are some women that will go weeks after losing their plug.
