Hi guys so I have the ParaGuard IUD. I have had it for almost a year now and while I was cleaning up there with water in the shower I noticed that it was parcially sticking out of my cervix. Not a lot but it's definitely noticeable. I period just ended and it was super light so I'm thinking that's why. Anyway, I got an urgent appointment with my Gyn and I'm so nervous and freaking out because I read online that even if the IUD comes out a little bit, it needs to get removed. Which means if they remove it, they need to put another one in!!!!!! When the put the new one in it was honestly the worst pain of my life and I couldn't move out of my bed for 2 days. Has anyone had an issue like this? What did your doctor do? Thank you so much I applicate it.
