menstrual cup???

okay so i bought a cup a while ago and i have such a hard time putting it in. i am a virgin and i believe i have a hymen (if that helps anyone) so i literally tried everything! i layed down and tried, i squatted, i tried after a shower, i tried the different ways you can fold it too. i mean i think i tried a lot of different ways and i still cannot get it in me! so like do you have any tips for me? im not gonna give up just yet! i really would like to use my cup. thanks!

It may also help if you use a water based lube or wet the rim of the cup with water. The punch down fold makes it much smaller than the c/u fold, if you haven't tried that give it a shot. Good luck!

so for the LIFE of me, i tried once again and nothing, i cant seem to get it in there! i dont know why. maybe i just cant get it in there because i suck lol.. augh im so frustrated!!!

I dont know if you have a tilted uterus or not, but I have a tilted uterus and it was very difficult to put a cup in a first. Once i got the hang of it it was as simple as putting a tampon in. I found it easier to do while on the toilet. And instead of putting it straight up there, point it towards your back. Horizontally. If you are tense, it will be hotter. Maybe a take a hot bath to relax muscles and then try. Once you get it in comfortable the first time, rest of the times will be a breeze. Good luck!

I had this same problem all I did was lay back relax use water and use the punch down fold the c fold never works for me and aim it towards your back and it should work

Tilt it towards your pelvis, more horizontal than vertical. And try not to be tense. Good luck!
