Baby Shower for 2nd kid?

Are any of you that are having a second, third, etc.. baby going to have another shower this time? I am pregnant with my 2nd child which is the same sex as my first so we have most of the things we need for him. I also don't have many friends since I am a stay at home mom. I though of doing a get together like pot luck and everyone brings diapers and if they like they can bring a gift. Would it be tacky to throw something for myself like that?
