Probably tmi

I was in the shower and I stuck my finger in my vagina, because I feel like its been swollen, so I was just checking. And my cervix was RIGHT THERE before I got into it at all, there it was. Super low. And yep, she was swollen like I suspected, and it hurt soo bad. I am 34w2d. Does anyone know why it is so low?
